Talking Dictionary is a speech enabled encyclopedic dictionary that can be used with or without a screen reader. The dictionary is based on the Wordnet 2.1 database and contains over 250,000 words. These include historical figures, slang and jargon. The dictionary has updated with the latest additions to the database numbering over 8500 words. Talking Dictionary is for computers running Microsoft Windows and has been optimized for Windows XP. Fully updated with 8500 new word definitions. Can now be used from within other Windows programs, such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Notepad, etc. Spell checker rewritten and improved. Can search for words when letters are missing from the input. For partially sighted users the text size can easily be adjusted. Has new voices that can easily be installed. Many more new features.
