XStandard XHTML WYSIWYG Editor (FREE) 1.2


XStandard is an ActiveX plug-in designed for integration into browser or Windows-based content management systems. It creates a WYSIWYG editing area where business authors manage rich content in any language. XStandard is the first WYSIWYG editor to generate XHTML 1.1 markup. It supports tables, lists, links, floats, and custom tags. CSS are used for formatting and are referenced through an intuitive drop-down menu. A Screen Reader Preview helps authors adjust content for accessibility. Version 1.2 of XStandard supports more CSS properties and XHTML tags, has a customizable toolbar, 6 interface languages, bug fixes and support for decorative images. XStandard "Lite" is free and can be used in production apps. at no cost. XStandard "Pro" has all the features of the Lite version, plus a spell checker and enhanced Web services (SOAP), which allow authors to drag-&-drop files into the editor and to reference shared files in remote libraries.
